Search Tips

Two methods for searching the photography database are provided.

  • Browse: This generalized search feature leverages our keywording methodoligy to best access the breadth of the photography file. Begin by selecting a catagory to the left.

  • Keyword Search: This method is best for targeted searches. To increase the number of images returned, simplify your search phrase. Begin on the Search page.

Refine Your Search: Once the database has returned thumbnail images, you may further refine your search by:

  • select the closest matching image thumbnail
  • under the enlarged view (registration required), select the keyword that best matches your search

Benefits of Registration

All users may search for images and view thumbnails unrestricted. Registration is required to:

  • view enlarged images
  • utilize the Lightbox feature and save images for later reference
  • facilitate print, stock photography, and commericial licensing inquiries and transactions
